Not really any different techniques from my other Deathwatch models, but certainly a fun one to paint. I did do a small conversion, using a Primaris Space Marine helmet instead of the helmetless option he came with.

Watchmaster Odin... a servo skull instead of a raven, a spear, targeter instead of a single eye, a tattered grey cloak... all the mythological elements are in place... except maybe a hat with a brim... to peer out from under mysteriously! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the model, I thought of Odin, and dug around for a helmet that fit. I may add a second servo-skull later if I dig one up, to act as his second raven
